Well, we finally won  the trophy back from Mount Osmond in a very close match. The conditions were miserable at the start but cleared up after the first few holes.

The players for the final were Adrienne Holmes, Soo Kyung Im, Keryn Hogben, Lesley Denny & Jennifer Cho with Carolyn Woolford reserve. Unfortunately In Suk Lee was working and Judy Burton had to withdraw due to asthma (she was devastated) but they will receive medals also for their contribution during the season.

Our team went through to the final undefeated which was a great effort considering we had so many girls who have never played Hickory before. It was a wonderful team and they all had a lot of fun which is the most important thing for beginners.

Sadly a few of these girls will be too good for Hickory next year but it’s all good experience!!! Thank you to our caddies on the day and the supporters who came out & braved the cold and helped us celebrate in the magnificent Clubhouse after the match. We are very privileged to play these amazing courses with so many people giving up their time to referee.
