Practice on the North Course
Adelaide City Council has in recent times begun using the first hole on the North Course for junior coaching clinics. As is their right as the landlord of the precinct, they have requested all areas of the North Course NOT be used for pre game practice. A blue line has been painted around the current practice putting green and sand bunker and all pre game practice must be restricted to this area and to the practice nets adjacent to the first tee.
If you are detected practicing outside of this area by the committee you will be deemed to be practicing on the course and will be disqualified from the day's competition.
This decision has been derived from the fact that when playing the 2nd hole on the South Course and your ball in play goes up onto the 18th tee on the North Course your ball is not considered to be out of bounds. By extension this must include all areas of the North Course.
