Men’s B2 – Round 1, Sunday 22 Feb.

Not the ideal start for our side in the first round at Regency Park.

North Adelaide took on a ‘surprisingly’ strong Flagstaff Hill outfit and came off worse-for-wear with a 2-5 scoreline.

Only skipper Chantha Kong (3/2) and Paul Haines (4/2) were successful.

Next week, they travel to West Lakes and hopefully better fortune against 2^nd-placed Blackwood.

Women’s Cleek 1 – Round 2, Monday 23 Feb.

By contrast, North Adelaide is top of the ladder after the first full round of competition in Women’s Cleek 1 pennants.

With round 1  abandoned last week due to hot weather and no points awarded, the Red Shirts helped themselves to full points in round 2 with a 4-1 win over Thaxted Park at Mt Osmond.  

Sandra Jeffries led the charge with a solid 6&4 win, ably assisted by Yeon Hee (Julia) Choi, Belinda Smith and Threetip Wongsala. Brideeta Carmody was the unlucky one to miss out.

The team travels to Royal Adelaide next week for a meeting with Kooyonga, who sit 4^th on the ladder.
