The Match Committee is advising members of changes to the Local Rules and clarifications on other points: 

Local Rule – Relief from abnormal conditions in bunkers – This new Local Rule allows players to take relief if their ball comes to rest inside a footprint, hole or mark within a bunker.         

Local Rule – Relief from renovation works – This Local Rule has been amended to rescind the relief from piled cores anywhere in the General Area. The ruling regarding GUR with Drop Zones remains in place.

Out of Bounds, 18^th Hole – The Match Committee advises that ‘Out of Bounds’ marker posts (white with black-painted tops) have been placed along the 18^th hole in front of the Greenkeepers’ compound. If your ball crosses the line of the posts, you must exercise the usual options for a ball Out of Bounds.

Incomplete scorecard – If you are unable to complete your round for any reason, please do not enter your incomplete score at the kiosk. A score entry for an incomplete round will affect the handicapping system. If your round is incomplete, please mark your card with ‘incomplete’ (or words to that effect) and place your card in the box.
