Luke Mongomery's ace!

Congratulations and commiserations to Luke Montgomery in his Club championship A-grade quarter final on Sunday 22 October.

Down in his match going into the final stretch, Luke rallied like no one else could on the day, scoring a hole in one on the par 3 16th… no easy feat given the prevailing windy conditions.

Unfortunately neither he nor opponent, Shaun Dawson saw it go in, given the pin placing behind the contour of the fairway. However after a short search, Luke found it in the best place possible.

It was all for nought in the end though, with Luke losing 2&1.
