Well, Club Championships are done and dusted for another year, well done to all that have participated in all rounds of the event and even.

The Finals were held Sunday 27^th October in almost perfect weather for our players and for the small crowd that had gathered to wish the players well and see the start of their Match Play games.

Those competing for the coveted title of Champion of their respective grades were:-

Men’s Club Champion (A Grade) - Yung Bok Kim vs Chantha Kong – 36 Holes

Men’s A1 Grade – Jin Su Park vs Luke Montgomery – 36 Holes

Women’s Club Champion (A Grade) – Se Young Jung vs Mi Park – 36 Holes

Women’s A1 Grade – Threetip Wongsala vs Lita Nam – 27 Holes

Men's B Grade - Ray Saxby vs Rory Cho – 27 Holes
Men's C Grade - Sham Sharma vs David Carmichael – 27 Holes
Women's B Grade - Soo Kyung Im vs Eunjin Park – 27 Holes
Women's C Grade - Jennifer Cho vs Veronica Sun – 18 Holes

The matches were well contested and played in very good competitive spirit even though some of the results might indicate solid win’s achieved by some.

Added to the excitement of the day was the ace on the 16^th by Soo Kyung Im, well done to her, sadly for all the realisation that it was an ace was only when they were not able to find the ball on the green but in the bottom of the cup.

The Men’s A1 Grade match kept the gallery well engaged for the full 36 holes until we could anoint the winner.

The Men’s Club Champion match was fitting of the title clearing out past 36 holes to continue on to hole 39^th before this epic event was finalised.

For those in the gallery we witnessed what were 2 acts of absolute brilliance on the 36^th hole when Yung Bok chipped in from off the green handing the challenge on to Chantha to sink a long range put to match Yung Bok’s birdie.

Chantha proved to be a man with ice in his veins and cooly poured the put into the cup to hold off celebrations for a little longer.

After the 3^rd additional hole the match was concluded which was fitting because we were running out of sunlight.
