2024 Women's Club Championships
Well, Club Championships are done and dusted for another year, well done to all that have participated in all rounds of the event and even.
The Finals were held Sunday October 27th in almost perfect weather for our players and for the small crowd that had gathered to wish the players well and see the start of their Match Play games.
Those competing for the coveted title of Champion of their respective grades were:-
Women’s Club Champion (A Grade) – Se Young Jung vs Mi Park – 36 Holes
Women’s A1 Grade – Threetip Wongsala vs Lita Nam – 27 Holes
Women's B Grade - Soo Kyung Im vs Eunjin Park – 27 Holes
Women's C Grade - Jennifer Cho vs Veronica Sun – 18 Holes
The matches were well contested and played in very good competitive spirit even though some of the results might indicate solid win’s achieved by some.
Added to the excitement of the day was the ace on the 16th by Soo Kyung Im, well done to her, sadly for all the realisation that it was an ace was only when they were not able to find the ball on the green but in the bottom of the cup.
