2023 Mixed Foursomes

Three couples dominated the placings in the 2023 Mixed Foursomes Championship held in brilliant weather, and on a beautifully-presented South Course on Sunday 24 September.

In the Scratch competition, Atila Koca now has a matching set… Men's Foursomes and Mixed Foursomes trophies… teaming up with Sandy Kuchel to shoot the day’s lowest score of 84.

They edged out Jinsu Park and Yeon Hee (Julia) Choi by a single stroke on 85 while Joy Shin and Jason Kim finished third with 86.

In the Nett event, the winning positions were reversed.

Jinsu Park and Yeon Hee Choi took the honours on handicap carding 65.5… 4.5 stroke ahead of Atila and Sandy on 70, with Joy and Jason again settling for third with 71.5.

However, given the rules stipulate one major prize per pair... the Scratch runners-up prize went to Young Mi Ko and Chantha Kong, with third prize going to Yungbok and Kelly Kim. Third prize in the Nett competition went to Kerry Wakelin and Bob Hughes.
