North Adelaide Golf Club

2020 NAGC Golf Week

Golf week this year will be from Saturday March 21st to Sat March 28th.  The idea is to make the week a celebration of golf and to get as many members and guests playing golf as many times as possible in the week.  Two competitions in the week feature the name Adam Scott.  If you didn’t know, Adam played his first ever round of golf here at North Adelaide under the tutorship of his father Phil.  We proudly have the naming rights for the two trophies.  The itinerary for the week is as follows:

Tuesday September 29th - The second round of the 36-hole midweek Championship (Postponed from March 26th).  A Stableford mixed event with trophies for men and ladies.  Winners are determined by the highest aggregate Stabeford score after two rounds of golf. There will be a BBQ and presentations after golf.

Men: Winner - Ian Mitchell with 72 Stableford points from Runner-up John Samaras with 71 Stableford points

Ladies: Winner - Dianne Cocks with 75 Stableford points from Runner-up Hideko Tanaka with 68 Stableford points

Saturday March 28th – Postponed - The Phil and Adam Scott Trophy, a Men’s Stableford betterball pairs event.  Pairings are; the oldest member is paired with the youngest member in the group, the other two are the other pairing.  In the event of a three ball, the oldest member in the group is paired with the other two members to make two pairs.  The ladies will play in their usual Stableford competition with a NTP on the 16th hole.

Thursday March 26th - Postponed - The second round of the 36-hole midweek Championship.  A Stableford mixed event with trophies for men and ladies.  Ladies not participating in the 36-hole championship can play an 18 hole Stableford competition with a NTP on the 16th hole.  There will be a BBQ after golf.
