2018 Play 9 Qualifying
OPPORTUNITY TO WIN 4 TICKETS TO 2018 AUSTRALAN MEN’S OPEN by PLAYING 9
In an eNews from GolfSA earlier in the year which was sent to all clubs it outlined an opportunity for four South Australian golfers (two male and two female) from the same club, to will win their way to play nine holes at The Lakes Golf Club on Day 3 of the 2018 Men's Australian Open.
The four winners from South Australia will come from one club or facility - the one whose (best two male and best 2 female stableford scores) during the qualifying period add up to the highest total.
To give members a chance to win through, they asked if clubs could host at least one official nine-hole competition during the qualfying period between 1 June - 21 October 2018.
The more 9 hole competitions you play the better chance you have of posting a good score. If these prove popular we will try and schedule additional dates before the 21st October.
We’ve come in a bit late in the time frame but have managed to secure the following dates with the co-operation of Jamie Clutterham, Golf Professional.
We have tried to accommodate mid week players and weekend players.
A NAGC $5 competition fee will be collected and prizes will be allocated taking into consideration the number of participants.
All competitions will be open to men and women.
There will be 6 tee spots and unused times will be released back to the public 5 days prior to the event.
Prizes from the official Play 9 Competition
a) The four (4) qualifiers will receive the following at no cost:
▪ Entry into the Play 9 at the 2018 Australian Open National Final;
▪ A weekend pass for the 2018 Australian Open as guests of Golf Australia;
▪ Return economy air travel to Sydney from Adelaide;
▪ Two nights’ accommodation (Friday and Saturday nights);
▪ A $200 grant to cover transfers and meals in Sydney;
▪ Attendance at the Play 9 Event presentation reception;
▪ Tickets to the Australian Open champion’s cocktail reception on Sunday evening;
▪ A player gift pack.
